LORD FEED US

Your love
Your mercy
Your compassion
Your strength
Your tenderness
Your courage
Your conviction

Take us across the trouble waters
Still our hearts
From those deep dark waters
Tell us not to be afraid for it is you coming across the seas

To feed us
To hold us
 To make us strong
To weather this trouble time
To feed our brothers and sisters
To pass the fish and loaves of our souls
To be satisfied and fed eternally

We bring more of what we have to your table o Lord
Feed all for the journey before us
Those waters are troubled, but not our hearts
For we have eaten at your right hand
For we have satisfied ourselves with your love
For we have brought all our children to feed as well

Our boat is drifting in this troubled storm
Our hearts are dismayed by the rough and churning waves
Our fears of being thrown in those dark waters never to rise again

Then you appear
With calming words
With calming words
With calming words to settle the storm cause you are our father, protector and guide

With your calming words we regain our strength to endure
We will endure
We will endure
We will endure

How Do You Say?

I like you.

You and I would be perfect.

We could make precious children with deep brown sparkling eyes.

I want to wake up beside you with your warmth, your glow, your scent, your softness with tender playfulness.

Yes girl, I would give all that I am and all that I am meant to be.
I want to hear you moan with a short breath of delicious ecstasy.
Come to church, pray with me, be blessed, his face forever shines on us.

Sit by my side, read contently, wanting nothing more than the stillness of silence.

You inspire me to write, to work, to perform, to take it all to the next level, not for fame or fortune, for your smile, your glance and your delicate presence with unconditional reassurance that you are by my side.
Your words float effortlessly from your lips to my ear and fill my spirit with joy.

Yes, yes, this is meant to be

Say your name girl…
What…is…your…name.
